The Catacombs Master Mode offers a lot more Catacombs xp per run. Completing M1 grants the same xp as a normal F7, which takes about 2-3x as long. Master Mode also introduces new items (Master Stars and Master Skulls) you can get from the chests at the end of the dungeon, which are currently a lot of profit.
