And I suggest that you should not lift one side of the car too high or you risk cracking the windshield. I don't know if you are planning on using the scissor jack to lift the vehicle from the cross-member, but I thought I'd just throw it out there that the scissor jack is only to be used on the pinch weld. The top of the scissor jack would be too unstable on a cross-member.
